Your Final Course Grade

The grades that you receive on the nine assignments and two examinations will determine your course grade. The assignments make up 40 percent of your grade in the course, and the exams total 60 percent (30 percent each). However, please note that to be in compliance with the IU High School Program’s academic policies, your exam grades must average at least a D− in order for you to pass the course. Even if your assignment grades are excellent, you will not pass the course unless you fulfill this requirement.

The following standard grading scale will be used in computing your course grade.

97 A-plus, 93 A, 90 A-minus; 87 B-plus, 83 B, 80 B-minus; 77 C-plus, 73 C, 70 C-minus; 67 D-plus, 63 D, 60 D-minus; 59 and below, F
